(1) A Terms/ Rental Agreement must be signed and returned with 50% deposit to confirm rental order and dates. Full Payment will be required for order placed less that 30 days prior to shipping. Please confirm all information on Rental Agreement. Any changes made after a shipment has been scheduled with UPS will incur additional charges.
(2) Payment may be made by check, credit card or debit card. A completed Credit Card Authorization Form is required in addition to the above payment methods. The Credit Card Authorization Form must be signed and faxed or mailed to our offices for surety purposes to cover the cost of any damage or late returns.
(3) Cancellations made 21 days prior to shipping date will forfeit deposit. For cancellations 14 days or less before shipping date or after shipping payments are non-refundable. If drop is not shipped in the AM of scheduled return shipping date or there is a delay in returning an additional per day charge of one half weeks rental will apply and charged to credit card. Tracking number must be supplied to verify date and time of return shipment.
(4) Our minimum rental period is one week. One week equals 7 days. 8th day starts 2nd week.
(5) All drops must be returned on time either in person or via UPS (United Parcel Service) at renters expense. The backdrop must be returned in original protective clear plastic bag and shipping box. Insurance of $5000 must be included in return shipping. Scenic Arts Studios must approve any change in this shipping program in order to avoid extra charges.
(6) Renter or person who is authorized on the Rental Order Form to represent the renter must sign UPS Signature Confirmation upon shipment delivery.
(7) Renter is responsible for rental item from the time it leaves Scenic Arts Studios until its return. While in renter’s possession renter is responsible for damages or unauthorized treatments to any rental item.
(8) No alterations are permitted to the backdrops whatsoever. No painting, stapling, pinning, sewing, tacking, cutting for any purpose or changing the physical form of the backdrop in any manner will be allowed. The Renter will be held liable for all repairs, replacement costs and loss of rental time.
(9) Before a backdrop is shipped, arrangements must be made by the renter to insure it for the cost of replacement or damage. The Insurance policy must name Scenic Arts Studios as an additional beneficiary in the liability policy. Proof of this liability must be faxed to our office.
